20%γ-aminobutyric acid
Product Description
1. γ-Aminobutyric acid Definition:
Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a naturally occurring non-protein amino acid and an important inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian central nervous system. About 50% of the central nervous system synapses use GABA as a mediator. It plays an important role in the human cerebral cortex, hippocampus, thalamus, basal ganglia and cerebellum, and has a regulating effect on various functions of the body.
When there is a lack of GABA in the human body, there will be emotions such as anxiety, restlessness, fatigue, and anxiety. Generally, people who have been in high-stress groups for a long time, such as people in a competitive environment, athletes, office workers, etc., are prone to lack of GABA and need to be replenished in time to relieve mood.
2. Physical and chemical properties:
Chemical name: 4-aminobutyric acid, alias: γ-aminobutyric acid, aminobutyric acid, pipecolic acid
English name: γ-Aminobutyric acid (GABA)
Appearance: light yellow or white powder
Molecular formula: C4H9NO2

3. GABA is approved as a new resource food announcement Contents
Announcement of the Ministry of Health on Approving 6 Substances such as Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid as New Resource Foods (Announcement of the Ministry of Health, 2009 No. 12)
According to the "Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Administrative Measures for New Resource Foods", the approval of γ-aminobutyric acid, colostrum basic protein, conjugated linoleic acid, conjugated linoleic acid glycerides, Lactobacillus plantarum (Strain No. ST-Ⅲ) and Eucommia ulmoides seed oil are new resource foods. When the above-mentioned six new resource foods are used in food production and processing, they shall comply with relevant laws, regulations and standards.
